Amanda and I had a Dr appt yesterday, and she is dilated to a 2. Which I know can mean nothing,....still... but she said she is having some changes in her body and feels like she did the week before she had her daughter. That has me super excited. Either way it is getting close to the end and soon he will be here!!! EEEEEE!! ( insert excited face here)
We need to make it until next weekend (37 weeks) in order to be able to do the water birth, and my instinct tells me... we will not make it. But whatever happens, happens and that's just fine with us.
This week I ordered a supplemental feeding system...in hopes to have somewhat of the same experience as Mothers who can nurse. We will see how it goes, but I at least want to try it. Otherwise straight to the bottle he will go.

ReplyDeleteI have IGT and cannot produce a full supply for my babies, though I've heard of so many mamas who have induced lactation quite successfully!
I've talked a bit about my experiences with an SNS on my blog. My situation will not be exactly like yours, obviously, but it might be nice to know someone out there has had to struggle to make milk.
