Well our celebration was sadly short lived. We found out on Monday that Amanda's HCG level was 25 which was good, yet still not "great". After Wednesdays 2nd beta draw, it dropped to 14.5 or so.
Today we learned her progesterone also dropped from 14 to 4. ( I can't remember exact numbers) but that pretty much confirms we had a chemical pregnancy on our hands.
The last two days have been a whirlwind of emotions. Something I am used to when it comes to this type of thing.
After much talking with family, Jack and Amanda...we have decided to go ahead with a 2nd transfer.
For now Amanda will have to get her body back on track and get off of her meds, get her cycle, go back on birth control and then we will get back on track with her meds.
Hopeful looking forward to an October transfer.
We are strong and are always prepared for what God has planned for us. We will go forward, and keep positive.
